It can be difficult to find a safe place to openly discuss the highs and lows of life. I believe that feeling seen, heard, and supported can make a meaningful difference as we navigate these circumstances. This belief has shaped my passion for creating a safe, compassionate space where others feel understood and empowered. I feel honored to walk alongside individuals and families through challenging seasons of life, including those experiencing anxiety, trauma, and other life transitions.
I have a strong passion for working with children, teens, and families, and bring experience as a teacher, including working with children with varying exceptionalities. I value creativity, connection, movement, and fun in the therapeutic process and enjoy incorporating play therapy, expressive arts, and sand tray therapy. I also utilize techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy while maintaining a person-centered approach that honors each individual's unique experiences, strengths, and needs.
It is a privilege to support children, teens, adults, and families as they move through life's challenges and discover new possibilities. I believe therapy can provide a place where clients feel comfortable to express themselves, process difficult experiences, develop healthy coping skills, and recognize their own personal strengths. I am grateful for the opportunity to be considered to work alongside you and your family and look forward to creating a trusting therapeutic relationship and nurturing space to foster growth, progress, and development
